“TANK was going to be the third volume of Sooner or Later Everybody Disappoints: a collection of the best ‘unreleased’ tracks. All tracks were initially recorded sometime between 2006 and 2011 but never made it onto an album. While tiding up Halma Bravo’s output I came across almost 40 tracks that had fallen by the wayside. Some tracks were fully arranged and recorded songs already, others not much more than a basic musical idea. Because the making of this album wasn't just a matter of lifting a few tracks from the archives but involved everything from writing lyrics to arranging and recording music, I decided - though essentially still a collection of discarded demos - to also see it as an album in its own right.” - S.A. -
